Fig & Basil Bites

Market Ingredients:
1 pint black mission figs, quartered - @lightsey farms
2 cups caciotta cheese, cubed - @Lira_Rossa
1 cup fresh basil leaves, whole - @bouldinfoodforest
Drizzle Ingredients:
3 tbsp balsamic glaze
2 tbsp honey - @roundrockhoney
2 tbsp olive oil
Directions:
Cut the figs and cheese into similarly sized, bite-sized pieces.
In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic glaze, honey, and olive oil until smooth. Adjust the consistency with more glaze or oil if needed.
On each toothpick or small skewer, thread a cube of cheese, fold and add a basil leaf, then finish with a fig piece.
Repeat to fill the skewer.
Arrange the skewers on a serving platter.
Drizzle with the balsamic-honey mixture just before serving.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
