Munkebo Farm
Manor, TX
Munkebo Farm pasture-raises cattle and pigs on their 80 acre farm, and use their manure to fertilize their produce, creating a closed-loop system. They incorporate permaculture principles and make use of all the natural cycles in an ecosystem to sustainably produce pork, beef, quail eggs, and produce. They bring various prepared products like homemade pot pies, lard soap, pickles, and kimchi to the market. They also like to raise heirloom, rare and unusual varieties of fruits and vegetables like magenta spreen, a relative of spinach.
